Pawtern is a tool that turns your pet's measurements into a sewing pattern. We designed it to need no account and no personal data.
Nothing personal. The measurements, pet names, photos and patterns you enter stay on your device (in the app) or in your browser (on the website). They are never uploaded to, or stored on, any server we control.
All calculations and PDF files are produced locally on your device / in your browser. Nothing you enter is transmitted.
Saved pattern projects stay in local storage on your device. Pawtern Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; Pawtern receives only the verified entitlement needed to unlock Pro and does not receive your payment-card details.
The website may record anonymous, aggregate event counts (for example, how many times a pattern was downloaded) to understand which features are used. These counts contain no personal information, no IP addresses and no cookies, and they respect your browser's “Do Not Track” setting. The iOS app does not do this.
We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any. The website loads a PDF library and is hosted on a content-delivery network; these may see standard, non-identifying request information (as any website host does), which we do not use to identify you.
Feedback form. The website has an optional feedback box. If — and only if — you write something and press send, that message (plus the star rating and the e-mail address you optionally type in, so we can reply) is delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-relay service. Nothing else from the page — no measurements, no pet names, no photos — is included. If you never use the box, nothing is ever sent.
Pawtern is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
